There are some interesting stories of Revolutionary War figures who were the ancestors of prominent members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in this book. By the author's own admission, this isn't a scholarly book, but rather a collection of historical stories to give a sense of the heritage that the Mormon church carries from the inception of the United States of America.
