Barbara Jelenkovich

Barbara Jelenkovich was born in Trieste in 1961. She attended the State school of art in Trieste and graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She is an illustrator specializing in pictures for children from 2 to 6 years old. She published her first book in 1985. To date she has had more than 107 books published by the most important Italian and German publishers, which have been translated in 24 different languages and have won worldwide acclaim. Her illustrations were used to scene paintings, make cartoons and children’s plays.
