Common Knowledge
- Short biography
- William Corkin or Corkine was an English composer and musician, fl. 1610-1617, who also spent some time touring the German states with other English musicians and actors. (See Schrixx's note on George Vincent's troupe in Shakespeare Survey 36, p140.)
Might he have been a relation of (or even the same man as) the William Corkyn, a Canterbury chorister, who sued Christopher Marlowe for assualt in 1592?
