Judy Kelly

I really loved this book! I enjoyed the dual point of view and the love story, I appreciated that the romantic part wasn't really the center of the story and thoroughly enjoyed the family dynamics that were displayed.
This novel deals with some difficult issues, not only grief and guilt, but depression, low self-esteem, trauma and alcoholism. And it deals with them beautifully. With what that I just said it would seem this is kind of a depressing book, but it really isn't, it is filled with show more hope even at the saddest points.
There are some lovely characters in this story, one of my favorites was Kathryn, I felt I could really identify with her. She is strong, driven and caring, and she is also scared and flawed.
I really felt for Scott, he was dealing with so much and he is such an amazing person, I just wanted to hug him half the time.
Furthermore, I'm a big fan of how the mystery was resolved and how the story ended as a whole.
