I have never played the games or read the comics, but I had heard of BloodRayne so when this movie came up on TV by chance I decided what the hell, and I'd watch it. It was terrible. Seriously, just super fucking terrible. There were pretty much no redeeming qualities story-wise and the acting was bad.
Based on what I have read, this is the best film of Uwe Boll.
Not recommended but not bad if you want to know his directing style.
There are some special features on this dvd where you learn more about
the making of the film and the director.
