Symmetry and Spectroscopy: An Introduction to Vibrational and Electronic Spectroscopy (Dover Books on Chemistry) by Daniel C. Harris
Very readable coverage of group theory and applications to chemistry, leading up to the interpretation of electronic and vibrational molecular spectra. Plenty of worked examples, and lots of problems to try (with answers at the back).
This is probably one of the best Quantitative anaylisis books availiable. I had this book when I took my quantitative anyalisis class in undergraduate. It covers all the important subjects to an analytical chemist. The book may be a bit hard to follow if you don't have a solid general chemistry knowledge though.

This book was for a course that absolutely challenged me in school, and now I read through it every once in a while for fun.
