About the Author
C. C. Lockwood's photographs have been published in numerous magazines -- among them National Geographic and American Photographer -- and many books, including eight by Lockwood. In 1978 he received the Sierra Club's Ansel Adams Award for conservation photography, and in 2000 he was voted a show more Louisiana Legend by Louisiana Public Broadcasting.
