Reviews
When I was growing up there were very few decent kids books about Australian animals but this was one of them. On re-reading I have found it less compelling but still interesting, informative and with some nice pictures. But I'm now in the position of having to downsize my library and this book is one of the casualties. Pity but I won't be using it in the future. I give it three stars.
Interesting, but the parts about Mauritius We’re mostly useless. It got much better when the travels began to include mainland Africa. Definitely a work of the times. Finished 18.06.2020.
