Blah…I wanted to like it. I really did. But the characters were caricatures and mostly annoying ones at that. I’m a huge baseball fan but even the baseball game talk bored me, I skimmed or skipped over most of those parts. There just wasn’t much redeeming in this book.
This book combines two of my favorite things: sports fiction and murder mysteries.
