Custer meets Benedict Arnold, 1st Crusade style.Disliked the title character. The lead Roland just could not connect with my modern outlook. In a supporting role, Archbishop Turin was ideal. Got to love a Priest who prays for you before a battle then kills scores in vengeance after you fall.
