This is one those rare times where you can actually feel the love and respect this author had for his friend and acting partner of thirty plus years. Simple, beautiful tale. This was an easy, pleasurable one sitting read.
Again, just like Dewey, my previous book, this was a simple little easy fun read. And again, like Dewey, I wasn’t really vested in it because the Odd Couple was a bit before my time and I never really got into it. Would I have enjoyed it more if I was a bigger fan…probably. Did I like it less because I wasn’t a fan…definitely not.
Heart-warming story of friendship and the perseverance to overcome adversity. Interesting stuff for the fans of the Odd Couple show. Includes a short DVD of fun outtakes.
This is such a wonderful heart-felt book. I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of either of these talented artists. Truly inspiring! I heard that they also released it as an ebook. www.jackklugman.net
