She was the first show more woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. Sadly, in an attempt to circumnavigate the world by plane, Earhart mysteriously disappeared. Burke's writing is clear and easy to undersand, supplemented with pictures, and extra tidbits of information. Earhart is a fascinating woman and a great role model for young girls.
