subtitled "talking about acting" .. this 1994 publication has a foreword by wendy wasserstein and andre bishop .. and profiles with working professionals then on stage .. from stockard channing to julie harris to madeline kahn to cynthia nixon (then a young actress performing in supporting roles in two different productions on b'way . quite a 'run between theatres at the interval' hat trick) ... the list of names and the reality of time and illnesses and deaths that have ensued beween 1994 show more and 2008 as i write this .. illustrate the importance of these kinds of works recording moments in times with people just beginning or in their prime or before we lose the wisdom of their experience. especially in a world as ephemeral as theatre. a sweet work. show less
