Cricket fans always like to think of themselves as, if not genteel, then laidback and not prone to rioting (which consumes vital energy that could be better used drinking). Robinson reminds us of a few occasions when we were not so laidback.
Obviously, the Adelaide Bodyline Test is here, as is the WSC Guyana Test, Mumbai gets a mention, as does Karachi. None paint cricket fans in a good light and presumably crowd behaviour has only worsened since the publication of "The Wildest Tests".
Worth a show more read if you can track it down. show less
