John Firth (2)

John Firth was born in Edmonton, Alberta. He attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Firth has worked as a journalist, prospector, laboratory technician, World Cup X-Country Ski championships public relations show more director, theatre owner, and financial advisor. He is the Chairperson of the Yukon Foundation - the Yukon's only charitable organization that funds artists and writers. Firth has received the Yukon Commissioners Award for his work in preserving Yukon history and culture and is a member of the Up Here magazine editorial advisory board.
