Lauren Brown, a graduate of the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, has taught plant identification courses at Yale, Wesleyan, the New York Botanical Garden, and many other venues. She is also the author of Grasses: An Identification Guide. Brown lives in Connecticut.
