I really like this book as evidenced by the 3 quilts I have made from the book. I like to use "Triangles on a Roll" to make quilts with triangles and this book tells at the top of the directions just which size the quilter needs to get. I plan on making more quilts from this book, but I will need to go to one of the office supply stores to get it spiral bound first because it is falling apart and so it will lie flat.
Techniques to make quilting a large quilt on a home sewing machine much easier. Mostly a technique book, but includes some spectacular patterns to illustrate.
The strips that the title refers to are 6.5 inch strips that are the starting point for the 18 quilts in this book. All of the patterns would work just as well using strips cut from fabrics already in your stash in larger pieces. Most are quite straightforward patterns. I will probably make the one called Blackberry Brandy.
