Anthony Jones (1) (1944–)

This beautiful art book is a biography of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and a study of how the Glasgow Style developed, and also a photographic collection of Mackintosh's architectural and design works from 1895 to 1911. His design style has undergone a modern revival in Scotland, and is more widely appreciated 100 years later than it was in his time. Many black and white photographs and some colour plates show off the beauty and originality of his Arts and Crafts style.
