Absolute trash.
Admittedly some interesting models to be toyed around with, perhaps to generate ideas, but nothing revolutionary or particularly useful to any method or tradition of research.
Disgusting, embarrassing mis-readings, mis-interpretations and strawmen of other positions/thinkers. E.g. one chapter includes a painful two paragraph blatant misreading of Weber's "Protestant Ethic."
Attending throughout is a definition of "functional" which is somehow manages to be simultaneously show more vacuous, trivial, and paradoxically circular, all to hilarious effect if the reader can convince themself to read this like a work of satire (which is the only way to endure the entire work). show less
