Short biography
Robert Morrow grew up in Silicon Valley, then circumnavigated his way around the Bay Area to eventually wind up in San Francisco. He left that great city in 2002 for life in the Pacific Northwest. He now lives in the Seattle area, close to many of the locations described in Ringing True.
Under other noms de plume, he is a published nonfiction author, poet and lead musical contributor to the semi-fictional band Acoustic Disturbance. Mr. Morrow has served in many leadership positions in the business and nonprofit sectors and writes regularly on workplace dynamics in various articles and blogs. His interests include travel, the arts, drama, music, baseball, football, history, dance and the incredibly exciting and supportive woman with whom he shares his life. Favorite authors include Dickens, Vonnegut, Dickinson, Hardy, Dostoevsky, Robert Caro, Whitman, Benedetti and Neruda.
"I wrote Ringing True with two goals in mind. The first was to write a great story that would get people to laugh and think at the same time. The second was to get people engaged in talking about and dealing with the challenges of our time. I realize that this is a pretty tall order for a self-published author in a self-absorbed world, but I've always been silly enough to believe that the impossible is always possible."

I really loved this book. It was an easy read, but very thought provoking. It’s true that too many religions now preach love and humility, but encourage hatred and fear of those who believe different. This book takes us on the journey of two college students who decide that they want to change that.

Justin and Shelby had great intentions when they started out on their quest to save the world from self-destruction. However, by joining up with Justin’s roommate Matthias, they opened show more themselves up to their own implosions.

Even if you have the best of intentions, if you go about it the wrong way, you ruin what you had planned. This book shows just that.

I think Mr. Morrow has something here. I've never read a book like it. Smart, funny, and the characterization is superb.
A new religion, indeed. I want to read more from him.
There is no drivel here, just pure entertainment.
