A great concept! 100 photographers and photojournalists from around the world are dispersed throughout the entire continent of Australia with the aim of spending a single day - the same day, March 6th, 1981 - capturing a snapshot of Australian life.
The end result is this beautiful hardcover coffee-table book with an extremely diverse range of photos, showing all walks of life at a single point in time.
I stumbled upon this in a tip shop, and picked it up for $2!

Op 6 maart 1981 namen 100 topfotografen uit de hele wereld deel aan een project om een dag uit het leven van Australië op foto's vast te leggen. Het resultaat is dit koffietafelboek. Goed idee en mooi uitgevoerd!
