Summary: This books is filled with a collections of poetry that are fun and interactive for children to enjoy. The poems range from several different emotions like happy to sad and everything else. Roger uses made up words and funny looking animals to keep the readers attention.
My reaction: I thought the book was very entertaining. The pictures kept me laughing and very entertained. I think this would be a very good book to read to children. I have never read this book and I really enjoyed show more it.
Classroom:
1. I would have them draw their own funny looking animal and hang them in the classroom.
2. I would see if they could come up with their own poem and pictures to go with the poem. show less

This book is about a little otter who wants to wear socks but quickly finds out all the reasons that otters should not wear socks. this book is full of poetry and i love the simplicity of it. This book would be a great read for second grade level readers.
