The cleverest chap in the school by Robert Leighton

The paste down illustration on the cover shows Gregoy lifting his bat and being bowled. Judging by the position of the bat in Gregory's hands, I have no sympathy with his surprise at dismissal. There is a leg slip, an interesting field position. Some great names for cricket players: Pinkney, Iddles, Bulstrode and Snooks. Inevitably Nubby Newgass was last man in.
