This is an excellent little guide to the English Parliament in history. It is organized such that various salient aspects are discussed as they developed historically.
Anglo-Scottish Union of 1707 receives no attention apart from a short paragraph at p 182 on the Scottish representative peers in the House of Lords. The author's very Scottish name belies his education at Dulwich College and New College, Oxford.
