I have never disliked a book so much in my reading life. Michael Edwards comes across so arrogant, so full of himself and so wanting to be Elvis Presley, even down to living with Priscilla. And I'm not sure that Priscilla came off any wiser, or one to admire. Michael does not paint a pretty picture of their life together, and I'm not sure what they both wanted out of the relationship besides sex. His 7 years living with Priscilla and Lisa were full of all of the wrong things to make for a show more healthy relationship; the worst was his open sexual admiration of Lisa and his near attempt to seduce her. Not fun reading and not a man I would want as a friend, or near my family. I still wonder what Priscilla was wanting in a man, after having Elvis as a husband and admired by the world. Sad commentary on what goes on behind the scenes of those we think we know via the gossip columns. show less
