- John Foxx (b. Dennis Leigh) was the original vocalist of the band Ultravox. He left in 1979 to pursue a solo career, and left the music business in 1985 to concentrate on his work in graphic design under his birth name. He returned to music in 1997, and has been active in both fields ever since.
