Wonderful stuff, if you don't mind sexism, nationalism, and general poking fun at both hotel owners and guests. Fawlty Towers is John Cleese at his best, and was made in the 1970s when political correctness was unheard of.

We've seen this before, and enjoyed it all over again seeing around one episode per week over several months. Maybe you have to be British and over 40 to appreciate it... but, seen as a classic of the era, it's hard to beat.
The jokes are a bit hit and miss (might just be that some haven't aged well, though), but overall it's pretty funny. I really have to watch this show one of these days...
The scripts for one of my favorite television shows ever. I think I've nearly suffocated laughing every time I've heard him ask the old lady, "Is this a piece of your brain?"
All you need to know about this book is that it has the script for "The Germans." Anything else in the book is pure gravy.
