I do like this series. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, so I can't be objective about this entry, but at least I can say it didn't piss me off, so that's a good sign.
II. My Little House 123: Adapted from the Little House Books by Laura Ingalls Wilder (My First Little House Books) by Renee Graef
Genre: Informational
This book uses pieces from the Little House Books by Laura Ingalls Wilder, and puts number and counted objects to these sections. The result is a charming counting book, that would be best for a teacher or buddy to read aloud to a very young reader. Even though it is an informational counting book, there still is the pioneer theme and characters from the Little House Books. The illustrations are done in the media of well done colored pencil.

This is a good example of an informational book about the state of Wisconsin. It goes through different historical events as well as highlights monuments throughout the state.
