First Thought when Finished: Game On by Gabra Zackman was fun sexy romp but the story could have been more flushed out.
Overall Thoughts: I really enjoyed Game On (my stepmom enjoyed it even more) but it must be said that at times it relied a little to much on sass instead of strength of story. I wanted a little bit more from the story--more background, show more character building, and mystery. I liked what was there though: pacing, sass, fun, and excitement. This story was short which means I suffered from what I always do with short stories: the want of more. I will read more if this turns into a series though because I loved the characters. They were quirky, sexy, and at times a bit over a top in a totally fun way (think Stephanie Plum but with real badass skills). If you are looking for something sexy, fun, and exciting I don't think you will be disappointed in Game On!
Audio Thoughts:
Narrated by: L. J. Ganser, Therese Plummer, Lauren Fortgang / Length: 5 hrs
The narration was out of this park! Seriously it was just downright fun and brought the characters too life. You can tell they had fun with the subject matter because they let the sass fly! Totally recommend this on audio if you pick it up. You will thank me later!

As I first started reading Game on I was really irritated by the cheesiness and improbability of the story but as the "plot thickened" it was so over the top I couldn't help but find myself enjoying it more and more.
Legs gets herself into trouble over a man and struggles to fight her way out. She enlists the help of her team and a long-time personal friend to figure it all out. I hope that the next book in the series focuses on my two favorite characters Bod Squad team members, Lisa Bee and show more Jackson.
A little intrigue, a little sex and plenty of high-tech gadgets. It was James Bond meets Stephanie Plum. Actually I was reminded of the Fox and O'Hare Series series by Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg and am looking forward to the next installment.
Recommended for anyone who loves romantic comedies. show less
