A book about love and work politics, particularly where a woman is in a role with power and how some of the men in the company try to bring her down.

Amy is promoted and regards this as yet another role on her well-organised career path. She has decided that this time she's avoiding work relationships but Greg charms her. Little does she realise that he put a bet on bedding her and that's all she is to him.

Meanwhile there's a new inhabitant in her flat complex and he's very attractive but her show more socially phobic friend Tessa also likes him.

Matchstick Love? That flush of love that you have at first that really has no staying power.

It's not a bad read but it's more about office politics than romance.

Readable chick-lit.

Emma works for a legal office and is married to Tony, who seems to be going nowhere, as is the marriage. When she's offered the chance to start up the Dublin Office of the firm with the acerbic Jack she jumps at the chance. Mills & Boon style plot.

Favourite character is Jeremy and he regularly gets the bad end of the stick.
