John Lancaster (1)

I like this book. It seems on the face of it to be very simple, and it is, but it cuts no corners, everything needed is there. It's a refreshing book, perhaps because of it's simplicity. I know that I produced some particularly satisfying letters after studying some of the examples. I would certainly not only reccommend this book for a beginner to calligraphy, but equally for an experienced calligrapher, who wants to return to basics for 'refreshment'. I'll certainly keep coming back to it, show more and maybe explore some of the other books by John Lancaster. show less
