During his thirty-five-year career, David Ryan, presently adjunct curator of design at The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, has organized exhibitions, projects, & publications related to modernist design, including "The Minneapolis Institute's Documents as Art" (1969) & "Art Deco" (1972), and, while show more he served as director of the Fort Worth Art Museum, "Joseph Hoffman: Design Classics" (1982).
