An interesting read, and likely to be enjoyed by someone looking for an atmospheric ghostly tale. Not a lot happening here, and it isn't particularly ground-breaking, but it does offer a solid, entertaining tale. An enjoyable read.

This Victorian ghost story was a bit disappointing. Not particularly scary but still entertaining. A traveler hears a voice at night. He eventually tracks down the source and the reason. The story is sad, perhaps, but maybe the traveler’s request will be granted.
