Short biography
Ida Zeitlin (1902-?) was an American translator and children's book author. Born in New York City in 1902, she was active as a translator of Russian and German fiction in the 1920s. In 1931 she married Russian expatriate illustrator Theodore Nadejen, who illustrated the three folklore collections - Gessar Khan: A Legend of Tibet, Skazki: Tales and Legends of Old Russia, King's Pleasure that she wrote.
