Haven House was a fun read with a fresh idea. The book had many events that were not the predictable "it happens in every story". That fact alone made the book quite refreshing. All the characters were lovable,(even those on a love to hate basis) with strong personalities. Some of the cutaway scenes were a bit confusing until the end when the whole story started falling into place. This book gives you a whole new perspective on close-knit communities and what most would consider a beautiful show more place. There are some scenes that are a bit gruesome and not for the faint of heart but for those interested in horror and paranormal this book is a must read. show less
