During a furlough she learned about the Sabbath truth, and when she returned to her field of labor she studied and accepted the doctrine of the seventh-day Sabbath. From that time on her desire was to tell others of the message she has learned to love. Having been dismissed from her mission service because of her strange new belief. Hannah More returned to America, where she hoped to find friendship and service among the people whom show more she now called her people.
