This is the story of Hannah More, a missionary to Africa. During a furlough she learned about the Sabbath truth, and when she returned to her field of labor she studied and accepted the doctrine of the seventh-day Sabbath. From that time on her desire was to tell others of the message she has learned to love. Having been dismissed from her mission service because of her strange new belief. Hannah More returned to America, where she hoped to find friendship and service among the people whom show more she now called her people. The story of her life after being dismissed from mission service is short. Did she find among God's people the haven of refuge she so longed for and needed? What is the purpose of telling the story of this woman? Could it be that the statement by Mrs White, "We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history" is significant today?
