I started crying from the first page! I loved him growing up and I remember looking forward to his show when nick started their 90s throwback nights.

Watching SNL, I didn’t like his sketches but he explained them in the book and I can see his direction. I appreciate the honesty, accountability, and still respect to not go in depth on certain topics. I truly appreciate his writing. He’s really gifted.

The Story:

I enjoyed this a lot. Kenan and I are similar ages so it is nice to see things I grew up with from a wildly different perspective. You can tell he loves his children a lot and though he only skims over his show more relationship with their mother he is very open about the struggles of raising two girls in today's world. He also is a huge fan of comedy and it’s not a coincidence he is where he is in his professional life. show less

I'm really glad I read this. I was inspired to look up some old "All That" clips, and some still had me giggling even after all these years. I'm planning to find old "Keenan and Kel" clips too. I re-watched the entire "Mighty Ducks" trilogy a few years ago, and smiled, remembering. I come from a hockey family, so we often watched the movies. Keenan fiercely guards the privacy of his ex-wife and Kel, noting in a few sentences that those aren't his stories to tell and that he's not getting show more into it anyway. I admire him for that. It was great to learn more about him, and I hope his career continues to flourish. show less
