Julianna Margulies' memoir covers everything from her childhood through to her life just after The Good Wife ended. I listened to this as an audiobook and Margulies narrates it beautifully. The focus here is on here experiences and her growth as a person so if you're in it for behind the scenes stories from her time on shows like ER or The Good Wife, you're likely to be disappointed. If you're interested in learning more about Margulies as a person and an artist, there's plenty to enjoy.
What a fantastic memoir! Julianna Margulies writes about her unconventional childhood, living back and forth between her two parents and between the US and Europe. Parts of her upbringing sound delightful (living in Paris and London!) and parts of it sound tough (missing out on seeing her father and having to deal with her mother's string of boyfriends). No one knows the whole story of our lives, even those who live it with us as she learns with her parents.

This is a great story about her show more hard work, respect for education and making the most out of situations. Would highly recommend! 4.5 stars show less
This took me a little to get into, but Margulies's storytelling was very open and honest and eventually captured me.
Excellent memoir - not the usual Hollywood tell-all full of gossip but more a telling of her childhood, upbringing, family, and road to success. Some very interesting Hollywood stories still mixed in. Very enjoyable read.
