This wasn't a bad movie, and I did like some of the changes, like Leigh having a closer relationship with her grandmother, that made a lot of sense. However, I didn't like that Leigh had black hair and her daughter had red hair, normally hair color wouldn't be such a big deal but hair color did play an integral part in Heaven and Leigh's (and Annie's) story.
In the book at the end, we find out that Leigh's book somehow ended up in Tony's hands and he had a detective find out that she gave show more birth to a baby (Heaven) This made no sense as in Dark Angel, Tony believed Heaven when she lied about her age.
The movie attempts to explain this a bit by saying that Luke sent Leigh's book to Tony after Leigh died... but that just complicated matters further because then why not send the baby with the book since Luke knew Heaven wasn't his child?
It's important to remember that the real VCA wrote Dark Angel, where Tony didn't know Leigh died in childbirth, while Neiderman wrote Web of Dreams where he contradicted this. Feh. show less

Bethany Lenz makes this film really fun and Will Kemp is easy on the eyes. A great combination. I always thought that Lenz was quirky and she pulls out all the stops in this one. I LOVE IT.
I love Marc Blucas so this movie was fun for me. Liked the plot and the secondary characters were great too.
