Sacred Places: A Comprehensive Guide to LDS Historical Sites Ohio and Illinois (Sacred Places) by Keith W. Perkins
A useful guidebook to important places in early church history -- extraordinarily complete, if a little on the dry side. Though clearly intensively researched, be aware that this series of books presents a largely white-washed version of the foundational events in the LDS church.
