Captain Marvel gets zapped into a mirror universe where she's a thief (and Thanos is good! and Starlord is Starkiller!) while trying to save Bean. It had some funny moments but overall the story-line was sadly bland.

Captain Marvel faces the chitauri, with aid from the Guardians of the Galaxy, as Secret Empire begins. Captain Marvel finds herself having to fight for the fate of the Earth by taking on an entire alien fleet bound for earth while Captain America goes all Hydra jerk on us. Not my favorite version of Captain America but I'm down for a good space fight and I love it when Captain Marvel teams up the Guardians. Additionally, I think that this storyline gave Carol the chance to really rise up and show more be her old snarky, inspiring self again and that was refreshing. show less
