A basic ABC book, showing one letter per page and several words and matching pictures for the corresponding letter. No story. Soft watercolor type illustrations, each letter has about 4-5 words. Not the most dynamic tool for teaching the alphabet, but a good beginning and easy enough for a young one to flip through. Probably better if introduced interactively, such as asking a child to match the word to the picture or vice versa.
