I can honestly say it has been a very long time since I have been held by a book like I was by this one. I was completely enveloped by the raw emotion that the author has produced. This is one of those books that you don't realise you are reading - you feel you are part of the story.
The only negative I have is that I want it to go on longer. That isn't a criticism of the story as it exists now. I mean I need to know what happens next. Yes, a sequel is a must.

This is the second book I have read by Jessica L. Degarmo. Both are outstanding in their ability to keep the reader hooked, and turning each page in anticipation.
It is not always a comfortable read, and the relationship between the main character and her father can be quite upsetting. But her fight against his oppression and her search for happiness far outweighs this, as does her relationship with the two men who change her life.
The writing is tight, and the way the story is told just show more makes you want to read on at the end of each chapter.
I cannot recommend this author highly enough. show less

How To Meet a Guy At The Supermarket is a fun, flirty tale about Quinn's epiphany on meeting single men, and the crazy lengths she goes to in order to try and meet a great guy that way.
DeGarmo's great sense of humor permeates the book as she takes us through one bad dating experience to another, each guy flawed in his own special brand of nut.
This is a quick, easy read that will leave you smiling and wanting more. I'd have given it 5 stars instead of 4 but for that reason. I think it could show more have been longer, the relationships with the store employees fleshed out a bit more. The characters were well drawn; I would have liked to spend more time with them, allowing those friendships to build.
All in all, a wonderful read that will not disappoint. I'll definitely be reading more from this author! show less

3.5 stars.
When i downloaded this i was expectinng it to be a simple, quick romance but was surprised to find it wasn't.
I'll admit i was a bit bored in the first 10% of the book but then she met Ryan and it became interesting and a rollercoaster of emotion.
