There is something equally vibrant and vulnerable in Sand's writing. His path is one of self, both broken mirrors held up, and small gems unwrapped with fumbling nervous hands, to let the torn paper fall away. There is an energy of vitality in the poems, and one that will cause the reader to return to discover text again, in return.
