These are excellent in themselves and as a point of departure for reflection and formulation of your own. I appreciate that the book has some illustrated blank pages for the reader to add her own prayers. This book is already dogeared and bookmarked and already feels like an old friend.
Priestess of The Morrigan: Prayers, Rituals & Devotional Work to the Great Queen by Stephanie Woodfield
I really enjoyed this book that mixed scholarly references with personal experiences. Even the parts that aren’t something that seems to be part of my journey directly were instructive and helpful to me in my thinking. Audiobook and book available on Everand as of this writing, and Audible also has the audiobook available to premium members.
while truly wasn't what i was looking for this is a rather strong book. Woodfield speaks of her personal experience and how they played a role in developing in her life. the mytho aspect is strong but the book is tilted more towards those looking or needing more of a spellcrafting book on The Morrigan. if that's what you're looking for this book is prefect for you.
An interesting look at various solar goddesses and how to incorporate them--and the solar feminine--into your practice.
I'm not particularly comfortable using goddesses from pantheons other than my own, but if that's your thing--or if your goddess(es) is in this book--you'll find a lot of information and background.
