I quite liked the protagonist, Jimmy, and ended up reading the next couple of books in the series, too. Nice 70s atmosphere and engaging narration.
This is the first Jimmy O'Brien novel that I have read. Jimmy is an ex-cop turned lawyer. He is defending his first murder client. Gets into all sorts of difficult situations. Like the character and the story.
