This book is juicy-licious ! I just finished it and already can't wait for my reread Funtastic characters, great banter, slow build friendship into romance. Ms Cosway never let us down with her witty realistic romances.
Afric is an online gamer for profession. She is unique, funny, honest, disorganized, and so interesting. Neil is a personal assistant for a parkour team, conservative, shy and always has his ducks in a row, numbered with labels. Could they be more opposite ? This is were it show more gets fun and a touch painful to watch, they tumble, roll, back away and slowly find common ground. Friendship, support and maybe a spark here and there.
I loved these two ! I think this may be my favorite in the parkour books. I know I say that with every new book LH Cosway writes. Seriously it was funtastic !

Have you ever picked up a book and found yourself completely captivated by the raw emotions bouncing off the pages? Ada and Jonathan’s story did that for me. If the grief doesn’t grip you, the tension will.

I was struck by Ada’s kindness and fierce pride not giving Jonathan an inch. Her tragic past was so heartbreaking, but she bravely tackles life as it comes at her. Judgmental jackasses like Jonathan don’t deserve the time of day, but she admirably helps him with his grief as she show more manages her own. She’s a true heroine in my eyes.

Jonathan starts out as a grumpy jerk unfairly hurling all his guilt and regrets at Ada, but he slowly realizes his mistake and reveals his vulnerable side. He’s an outstanding example of character growth well done and I found myself rooting for him to heal and move on.

Together, Jonathan and Ada form a complicated, yet beautiful bond fueled by their shared pain. Their reluctant proximity leads to moments that are so tender, they’ll give you butterflies while also tugging at your heartstrings. It’s that perfect slow-burn romance that makes you want to keep turning the pages late into the night.

In a world where stories often rush to the finish line, the gradual unfolding of their relationship felt refreshingly real. This book will make you feel all the feels. I can’t recommend this series enough!

Thank you to Ms. Cosway for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

I picked up this book because I am reading book 2 of the series for a tour this month, and boy, I'm glad I did. Quiet Types is the purest form of love between a lonely, abandoned woman and a broken mute man. Maggie and Shay are a beautiful match longing to be loved for who they are and bringing out the best in each other.

Maggie's tragic life has made her invisible and untrusting of many, but there was something about the stranger on the bus that fascinated her. I admired her enthusiasm and show more dedication to learn sign language as well as work on herself in order to better communicate with Shay. Shay is a wonderful character. It's not his muteness that defines him, but his patience, respect, and countless gestures of kindness that reveal an insightful depth of character. I like the fact that Maggie and Shay's connection blossoms without grand gestures and extravagant gifts. Also, it is refreshing to see the couple confront their insecurities and doubts with honesty.

The love of family and friends is a wonderful support system for the main characters. And Maggie's confrontation with her mother's years of emotional abuse is an empowering moment as she reclaims her sense of self.

This lovely story is very engaging and I fell in love with the captivating characters instantly. Their quiet existence and normalcy made a great impact on me. On to book 2 for me.
