Reproduced in Heinz and Bodo Rasch, 'Gefesselter Blick', Stuttgart 1930, p, 87 with the following explication: 'geschäftskarte einer fotografen-apparaten-firma. fotomontage stärkste mittel räumlicher beziehungen. firma und das wort "optiek" stehen in beziehung zum papierformat und werden daher vom auge schnell erfasst. der fotografen-apparat tritt aus dem bilde plastisch heraus durch den roten untergrund und durch die reklameinschrift, die den hintergrund verlängert. weit hinter dieser show more schrift, die wie auf einer glasscheibe wirkt, liegen dann die übrigen gegenstände. das auge sieht also in einen tiefen räum hinein, von der firmenbezeichnung und dem worte "optiek" über das objektiv der fotografenkamera durch die Glasscheibe hindurch.'
