Succinct, easy to read and follow. This book did in 125 pages what Darwin's Doubt attempted to do in 512, and it didn't bury me alive in science that I needed additional resources to understand.

Mr. Sarfati synthesized important information from many scientific fields and presented it logically and simply. From the basis/bias' of decision making of both sides of the creationist/evolutionist argument, to specific examples of animal creation (or non-evolution), to earth age - he covered it all. show more This would be a perfect resource for Christians witnessing to non-believers and evolutionists.

This is an excellent book to start with if you are venturing into the creationist/evolutionist waters and are looking for more specific information other than your own "informed opinion."

This book is better than the first one simply because Jonathon Sarfati gets deeper into details this time around. While not covering the biggest issue, other than superficially, ie. the fossil record, he does cover a significant portion of evolutionist theory and debunks a great deal of it.

Believe him or not, he puts forth interesting alternatives that will make you think.
Mr. Sarfati is associated with the creationist group, Answers In Genesis. This book is written to specifically dispute a PBS series on evolution and a Scientific American article on evolution. Sarfati's arguments against evolution are not original and are not supported by the scientific community. He claims that the scientific community is in collusion to suppress evidence that questions evolution. It is interesting reading in that it shows a variety of theistic, not scientific arguments show more against evolution. While written with scientific jargon and citing "scientific" sources, a closer look shows that most of the sources are from Christian apologetics associations. None the less, the books gives you something to debate, if you are so inclined. show less
This is the best book on creationism I've read and I've read many on that subject. Dr. Sarfati takes the opposing arguments one by one and goes to the Bible to explain why he disagrees with them. That's one of the strong points of this book in fact, that the author begins with scripture and works his way out to support his position rather than beginning with a position and then trying to make the scripture fit it(as do the "old earth" and "theistic evolution" proponents). Dr. Sarfati is show more clearly very knowledgable in both science AND theology (again, something often lacking among the opponents of the young earth point of view) and is able to articulately and clearly present his position in a way that is understandable and powerful. show less
