There is no doubt that being blind poses many challenges in life, but there are endless tools and equipment that help people with vision disorders complete every day life tasks. This books shows its readers that the blind can do anything that every one else can.
The beginning of the book talks about how someone can become blind. They explain what happens to an eye for vision to disappear and what the can do naturally or surgically to fix the problem.
For the people that live with their eye show more disorder, the book explains the endless accommodations that are used to help them live a completely normal life. This book shows the readers how blind people function at school, home, walking, how they read and write, how they talk, and much more.
What I like about this book is that they really zone in on informing the readers that their disability does not make them different. They can do anything we can just in different ways. Blind people can play sports, games, act, sing, dance, and anything else they aspire to do.
